Preorder your 2021 building price book now

We are pleased to announce that the 2021 editions of our flagship price books, Griffiths Building & Civil Engineering and Hutchins Priced Schedules: Small Works and Maintenance Construction, are available to pre-order. These are up-to-date with material and plant hire costs as of third quarter 2020, and use the latest available labour costs.

We are expecting delivery of the new books at the end of November, and orders will be dispatched as soon as we have them.

And we’re offering our mailing list subscribers an exclusive £10 off when they place their order. You can join the mailing list, and get your discount code, at the bottom of any page on this website.

After such a tough year, we really hope the 2021 price books will see our customers through a much more stable year, but with so much uncertainty still on the horizon, we have included recommendations in these new editions on adjusting estimates and bills of quantities.

Not only is the construction industry operating as best it can through a pandemic, there is of course also ongoing negotiations around what Brexit may look like for us all through 2021 and beyond.

As ever, our new editions are a reliable source of costs so that you can price your jobs, large or small, knowing that your overheads, as well as the right level of profit for you, are covered.

With input from our readers, as well as help from a range of manufacturers, suppliers, building merchants, and surveyors, we’ve undertaken a thorough review and expanded sections, including woodwork, underground drainage and terracotta.

You can find out more about the coverage of each title on our product pages for Griffiths Building & Civil Engineering and Hutchins Priced Schedules, and if you would like any more information to work out which book would suit your needs best, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – you can email us at [email protected] or message us through this website using the contact form.

Sample pages are also available on the product pages, and we’d be happy to provide a list of what is covered within particular schedules in the books.
